Encounter with other people

My most recent encounter with other people was when we visited our dad in Jakarta, Indonesia. The people there are very friendly but they do not know much english. So that communicating with them is hard because of their lack of english, but it is ok with me. Pork is not common there since it is a muslim country but it is fine with me. That is their belief and I don't want to meddle with what they believe.

The people there are like Filipino people, friendly and seemingly always smiling. So I, taking aside the language their, it is like in the Philippines and I am happy when I am there. The people also doesn't look much different from Filipinos.

Problems of our Youth Today

I think that one of the most disturbing social problems that is facing the children today is that instead of being taken care of and loved, they are instead being abused and are not treated properly. And usually the ones abusing them are the ones that they look up to, which is the older people around them.

I think that I can help in this problem as a student in dela salle by participating in outreaches in orphanages and show the children there that there are still some people that care about them and try to help them cope with their past in any way we can, like arranging some activites for them or treating them to food that they don't usually eat.

Good Citizen

What striked me the most in being a good citizen is respecting people, following the rules and being good for our country. It striked me because doing this things require a lot of understanding and patience and it is good because this things are good.

My insights on the input of my rights and responsibilities as citizens of the country is that we should really try to help our country the least by being a good citizen, obeying the rules and respecting our fellow citizens. We should also try to keep our country clean, even by just throwing our garbage properly.

My only problem in being a good citizen is that I often don't follow the pedestrian lanes. I just see if there are no more cars or the cars are still far away. I will try to resolve this by trying to be patient and use pedestrian lanes.

Reaksyon about The Notebook

I think that love is important and that if two persons are loving each other, you should not try to break them up just because you don't like the person just like what Allie's mother did to her, when Noah was writing to her and she kept all his letters away from Allie.

Allie met another man and she fell in love again to him, and he became his fiancee. I forgot his name, but they were about to be married when Allie met Noah again. She eventually fell in love again with Noah and with her fiancee's approval, she met again with Noah and stayed with him. I think it was a good thing because I think that they are right for each other.

Reality is presented in the movie because it portrays how the family sometimes try to interrupt the relationship of their daughter/son because they don't like the person whom he/she loves. It is favorable to the movie because it shows more how love will eventually win in the end, because in the end of the movie, Allie and Noah got married and had a family of their own despite the challenges that faced them in the past.

My most significant relationship

My most significant relationship is probably with my family and relatives. They are close to me because me and my brother come from a close-knitted family, and has good family values. Since I was a child, every weekend, our family and other relatives would gather on the house of or grandparents. On Saturday, we go to our mom's side of the family and on sunday we go to our dad's side.

I am close to my cousins and they are like my additional brothers and sisters. I am happy spending time with them and even though I am college now and 16 years old, I do not mind playing with them in traditional games like "habulan" or "tagu taguan". Maybe because I'm childish like they say, but I'm not sure. But I think because of that I want to spend time with them, I do not mind playing with them.

My family supports me in many ways and I am very grateful for them. I try to support them in the same way and I hope that I am doing very well.
